Rhapsody of Realities - Empowered To Help Others - 14/06/2015

Pastor Chris

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth (3 John 1:2).

If you haven't made up your mind to enjoy your life, you can make that decision today, because that's God's will for you (John 10:10). He wants you to have good health, to be strong, vibrant, prosperous, and influential enough to help others. You have to be in a position of advantage to be able to lift others, and be a blessing.

One has to be financially influential to make meaningful impact in spreading the Gospel around the world. In our ministry, for example, the tremendous impact we make all around the world, in hosting large crusades and conferences, airing TV programmes etc., cost lots of money. We're grateful to the Lord for empowering us to be able to do all that!

Preaching the Gospel is akin to fishing in a river; it can be done in different ways. You could jump into the water, swim, and try to catch some fish with your hands; you won't get a lot of them that way though! You could also place a hook in a strategic spot in the water, and bait the fish to swallow the bait. You still may not get very many. Another option is to cast a net into the water. With the net, you'll more likely get a haul; a better result. However, it'll certainly cost you more to use the net.

God wants us to be prosperous. Those who got acquainted with Jesus in the course of His earthly ministry became empowered to bless others; they had greater influence, reach and impact in their time. That's what He's done with your life; you're blessed to be a blessing.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the work you've committed into my hands, in reaching the unreached with the Gospel of Christ. I'm unwavering as I put in the best of my resources, time and energy, in the divine task of reaching the world with the Gospel. Thus, I make great impact for your Kingdom, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Further Study:
1 Corinthians 9:16 For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel! ;

2 Samuel 24:24 And the king said unto Araunah, Nay; but I will surely buy it of thee at a price: neither will I offer burnt offerings unto the Lord my God of that which doth cost me nothing. So David bought the threshingfloor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver.
